Shred Suicide Bracelet

100.00

Designed by Dorian Madreperla & Denise Cox, this striking bracelet was inspired by many teens who struggle with anxiety, depression and suicide, many who have decided to continue their story, and honoring those we didn't connect with in time. Our goal is to educate and stop this awful epidemic.  Put a stop to the ignorance and learn techniques to deal with the many challenges of social media, teach kids to help one another in a time of need and don't be afraid to speak up when someone needs help.  Education and awareness are the keys to help not only the teens, but the adults that come in contact with those teens who may reach out in a time of need, what to do next? Pause. Reflect. Affirm. Continue.

The Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide, Inc. (SPTS) is a non-profit community organization dedicated to increasing awareness and reducing the stigma of suicide through specialized training programs and outreach resources that empower teens, parents and educational leaders with the guidance and skills needed to help those at risk of suicide build a life of resiliency.  SPTS was founded in 2005 by two Monmouth County fathers who each experienced the devastating loss of a teenage child by suicide.  The mission of SPTS is to reduce the number of youth suicides and attempted suicides by encouraging public awareness through the development and promotion of educational training programs.  Annually, it is estimated that SPTS directly serves 236,000 individuals.

Turquoise symbolizes protection and great wisdom.  Amethyst helps with wise decision making and frees us from emotional confusion.  The clear crystal is the master of all healing and the white agate brings love.  The bracelet expresses the wearer's understanding that "In darkness we find light; in sorrow we find ourselves."

The butterfly charm symbolizes transformation and change from one place of darkness into the hope of light and freedom to become our best out of the darkness,  We can understand the symbolic meaning of the butterfly and relate to it's stages of life like our own life-phases, growing pains, times of hunger, time of vulnerability and moments of miraculous expansion.
